Britney Jean Spears was born on Dec. 2, 1981, in a small town named Kentwood of Louisiana. Britney was passionate about both dance and songs. Her first public performance was at the age of 4, when she sang "What Child Is This" at a local church. She also auditioned for the Mickey Mouse club in 1991. Britney was too young to participate, but the manager noticed Britney’s talent and asked her to take professional training in a dancing school. In 1993 she went to the MMC and at the age of 11 and then became a Mickey clubber.
After her experience in MMC, Spears went to the high school in Louisiana for a year. She returned to New York at15 years for the audition of executives at Jive Records. She made a contract development deal with Jive and for the next two years was busy recording her debut album with producer Eric Foster White, who worked with Whitney Houston and Max Martin, who worked was one of the fellow pop stars of the Backstreet Boys.
After returning home she became a "regular" high school student. Spears signed the agreement to the Jive record label, and finished recording her first album as a vocalist in 1998. It was released in 1999, Baby One More Time. This album was undoubtedly a smash hit. Spears' stunning good looks added to her advantages and transformed her into a life of superstardom. Her following albums included Oops! I Did It again the next year, and then another one in 2001. In early 2001, Spears profited around US$7–8 million promotional deal with Pepsi.
